Hello, I'm Olly, the owner and baker behind Lapis312.

Growing up in Indonesia and Singapore, my love for sweets was nurtured alongside my beloved grandmother, whose cherished recipes became the foundation of my passion. Inspired by family traditions, I pursued professional pastry training at The French Pastry School in Chicago, which led to an exciting career at The Peninsula Hotel Chicago, Pierre Hermé in Paris, and co-founding Ollella in Singapore with my sister, Marcella, in 2016.

Now based in the U.S., I’m driven by a desire to share the authentic flavors of Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Having experienced firsthand the longing for home-cooked flavors, I deeply understand the connection that food creates to one's roots. Armed with my grandmother’s treasured 65-year-old recipes, my goal is to bring you a taste of home—one that sparks joyful memories and inspires future generations to celebrate their heritage.

At Lapis312, every treat is crafted with care, using only the finest ingredients—like Dutch Wijsman butter for our Kue Lapis Legit—to ensure the most authentic flavors.
